Really good quality
I recently purchased the full Umi matcha set, and after several weeks of daily use, I can confidently say that the quality truly stands out. The chawan, in particular, has become my absolute favorite among the other bowls I own. Its size, weight, and overall workmanship feel exceptionally well balanced, giving it a very solid, authentic feel in the hand. The finish and color are exactly as shown, which is something I really appreciate, especially when buying handcrafted items online. The included utensils, such as the chasen, also feel well made and contribute noticeably to the quality of the matcha I’m able to prepare. I spent quite a bit of time researching different chawans before making this purchase. I wanted something that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I’m very glad I took the time because this set has exceeded my expectations. Ever since I started using it, my matcha has consistently turned out smooth, frothy, and flavorful, and I fully credit the well‑designed tools. Despite owning a few other bowls, I always find myself returning to this one because it simply performs better. I’m extremely pleased with the entire set and would definitely return to purchase more items from Umi in the future.
