My experience with iTeach Texas
My experience with iTeach Texas was very positive overall. The program gave me a clear pathway into teaching and helped me successfully complete my clinical teaching experience and certification requirements. I appreciated that the coursework connected well with real classroom situations, especially lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement strategies. The staff and field supervisors were supportive and responsive whenever I had questions. I also liked that the program encouraged reflection and growth throughout the clinical teaching process rather than focusing only on completing assignments. One thing iTeach does well is preparing candidates for real classroom expectations through observations, feedback, and practical teaching experience. The certification process can feel overwhelming at times, but the support resources and communication helped me stay on track. I especially appreciated the support provided by my instructional coach, field supervisor, and course evaluators throughout the program. Their feedback during observations and assignments helped me improve my instructional practices, classroom management, and lesson planning skills. The guidance and constructive feedback made me feel supported during my clinical teaching experience.
