Services dispatched are not for antique cars. good for a tow I have 1930 Ford Model A I needed a jump and requested roadside service. I informed them in writing on my request that it's a 1930 Ford model A and it is a 6 volt system with positive ground in capital letters. They are classic and antique car ins. Provider that's why I insured with them they guy they sent assured me his jump starter does 6volt up to 12 volts his word he also showed up in a regular truck with blacked out tint so didnt think that pickup was for me, but it was. So I showed him the negative side for the positive red cable and same with the positive side for neg. Cable when I tried to start the car his jumper fried my 6volt system! He then said do you want to try it again? WHAT! I said let me see your jumper you assured me was for 6v Nope it was a 12 volt jumper needless to say he left, so now im calling a tow truck flatbed they finally showed up and got the car back home. But WTF do I do now? Other than replace my electrical system.
