We had a very enjoyable trip to Guizhou, Hunan and Xinjiang provinces on a private English escorted tour. The guides and drivers were exceptionally caring and we couldn't speak more highly of them. There is a lot of walking long distances involved. Quite a few spectacular Canyons in Guizhou which involved lots of steps which I personally wouldn't advise if one has bad knees. All the scenic spots are now very well designed and orderly with shuttles, buses and cable cars to reach the area compared to many years ago. The amenities now are also very clean. On the whole, our hotels were very good too, catering for Asian and Western palate except one which had miserly offerings. We have no qualms in highly recommending China Highlights to organise tours throughout the country.
