Angi list employees lie
If you’re a contractor and thinking about working with Angie’s List, don’t do it. I signed up with them was told by one gentleman that each lead is specific to me and that they lead picks me and doesn’t get called by everyone, however when I spoke with another gentleman about canceling he had told me that that’s not true and that they send their lease to multiple contractors. I was hoping that they had changed their system and that I was not being lied to you however that was not the Case and now all of a sudden I’m getting charged more money than I was told I was initially told only $750 to get $1000 in leads and that I wouldn’t be charged anymore however they charged me $300 and now they’re trying to charge me $800 as I’m canceling. I would highly recommend staying away from them. What they do is criminal to an extent. And they are all liars there.
