Extremely frustrating and exhausting shopping experience
Extremely frustrating and exhausting experience buying from Mammotion UK. I ordered a YUKA Mini via Mammotion’s UK website on 28 April and what followed was weeks of contradictory information, poor communication, and internal admin issues. Over the course of the order I was told: • A European-spec machine with a travel adapter for UK outdoor use would be supplied because the UK machine is out of stock so is the UK power supply • then told me that actually the UK power supply is in stock but I would need to pay £96 extra to purchase it • Then agreed that the machine would be sent with a proper UK power supply would be sent after a short delay in Early May • Then by Mid-May after I proactively chasing, the order was suddenly “out of stock” and should be cancelled and reordered from their UK website (which is where I placed my original order) • I agree with cancellation but the product was then dispatched anyway After multiple emails and chats, I eventually decided to keep the machine to avoid even more delays and logistics headaches. Mammotion agreed to send a UK power supply and replacement blades separately (with an estimated 8–16 business day wait). However, despite confirming that I would keep the order, the device arrived locked and unusable because it had been marked as refunded internally. We have now spent days chasing support to remove the lock and reactivate a mower that is physically sitting in our home but cannot be used. The most disappointing part has not just been delays, but the repeated conflicting information, lack of ownership, and absence of clear timelines. Support repeatedly says someone is “processing” or “expediting” the issue, and kept telling me to “be patient” but without meaningful updates or resolution. This has genuinely been the worst online shopping and customer service experience I have personally encountered.
