I used 深圳市快点达国际物流有限公司 Shenzhen Kuaidian Da International Logistics Co., LTD as a freight forwarder for a shipment from Shenzhen to Georgia (≈$700 cargo) and experienced a textbook bait-and-switch fraud. What happened: Initial contact through WeChat. The contact person agreed to receive payment via Alibaba Trade Assurance — this is what built my trust to hand over the cargo. After my goods arrived at their warehouse, the contact suddenly claimed "Alibaba payment doesn't work" and demanded an extra $100 in cash to release the cargo to another forwarder. When I pushed back, the story changed: now the $100 was a "warehouse storage fee" — even though my goods had only been there 4 days, well within any reasonable free storage period, and no such fee existed in our original agreement. When I pushed again, the amount dropped to $50 — proving the fee was invented and negotiable, not a real cost. The contact used "my leader insists" repeatedly to deflect personal responsibility — a classic tactic. After I prepared formal fraud reports (国家反诈中心, 12315, 市场监督管理局) and showed I had their business license, legal representative, and registered address documented, they suddenly "found a way" to release the goods at no charge. Red flags to watch for from this company / contact: Operates through WeChat without platform escrow Agrees to Alibaba payment, then claims "it doesn't work" once cargo is in their possession Invents new fees after cargo arrival Uses "my leader said" to avoid accountability Negotiates the "fee" downward when challenged — proof it's fake My advice to anyone considering this company: Do not send cargo without platform-protected payment (Alibaba Trade Assurance with order created and paid through Alibaba — not just "we'll use Alibaba") Get every fee in writing before handover Verify their business license on 天眼查 / 企查查 / 国家企业信用信息公示系统 before committing If you must use them, never let cargo arrive at their warehouse without escrow I eventually recovered my goods without paying — but only after extensive pressure. Future customers may not be as fortunate.
