Pristine Auction

Over inflated prices and passive aggressive hosts

The one and probably only good thing is the products are good and authentic. Beyond that if you are buying trading cards, you are going to pay probably 30% more than you would pay almost anywhere else and that’s not even including the buyers premium at 17% and tax and shipping. Just do your research and look up comps on everything. The live auctions are the worst. The hosts are very passive aggressive and they get upset and even threatening to not run auctions if prices do not go as high as they want to. In fact the other day Dash stopped running Michael Jordan mystery packs because they were not going as high as he wanted. He claimed that those packs go for over $100 when I literally purchased one for 30 the night before. You may get lucky every now and then but it’s extremely rare. I made the mistake of purchasing a live rip where they made it seem that every card was multi three figures and that’s a common they use quite often and I spent over $300 on a card that is worth $85. I get it. They are trying to make the most money possible at your expense, but they fabricate and overexaggerate everything. If you don’t believe me, please join a live auction, look up comps on their 10 minute auctions, join a live rip auction and you will see for yourself. You will see that every host is extremely passive aggressive. They literally get upset if a card does not sell what they want for yet they start the auction at one dollar. Don’t take my word for it, go find out for yourself and you will see. I made the mistake of not doing my research, have spent a lot of money on cards that they claimed were big sellers and I can barely get a third of that price. If you’re just trying to collect and don’t care about the money, no worries. But if you want to turn around and sell cards, you will not make any money buying off pristine.
