Buyer Beware: Atowak’s “Navy Blue” Watch Looks Black in Real Life

I purchased the Atowak ETTORE Drift Navy Blue watch because the product images showed a clearly navy blue case. The watch I received does not look navy blue in normal use. It appears black indoors, outdoors, and on the wrist. This is not a small shade difference or a lighting preference issue. The watch was advertised and labeled as Navy Blue, but the actual product I received looks substantially different from the website photos. I contacted Atowak and provided photos comparing their website images with the watch I received. Atowak responded that lighting can affect the color, but they also stated that their "visual team would adjust the product images for future customers." In my opinion, that confirms the original product presentation was not accurate. Atowak offered only a small $50. refund. I requested a more meaningful partial refund because this was not buyer’s remorse. This was merchandise that did not match the advertised product presentation. Color and case finish are major buying factors for watches. Customers rely on online photos and product descriptions, especially when buying internationally. If a watch is advertised as navy blue and the delivered watch appears black, that is a serious problem. Buyer beware: take screenshots of Atowak product pages before buying, save all product photos, and be prepared for the actual watch color to differ significantly from the website presentation. I would not have purchased this watch if the website images had accurately represented how dark the case actually appears.
