First and last time I used this booking website. I’ve found a hotel and tried to book a hotel room through the Agoda. My payment went through, I got e-mail that booking has reserved, two hours later another e-mail stating that payment didn’t went through and that my booking has not been reserved. I found that money has been deducted from my bank account (reserved) and I thought maybe they will return it back since reservation didn’t went through. I booked a hotel nearby through Booking.com in meantime because I thought I’ve finished with Agoda. Four days later. E-mail confirmation from Agoda that my booking is reserved so I ended up paying two hotels at the same period. Tried reaching out to Agoda website for help, they got no customer support only ChatBot. Then I went to apply for free cancelation but hotel denied it. After all of it, I ended up complaining to my bank but they also denied. Money thrown away, but lesson learned. Do not use this site for booking at all!
