Misleading, Disorganized, Unreliable, and Unprofessional
I would not recommend BBDBUY to anyone looking for a reliable shipping agent. [I am writting the review because they ask in discord to write good review in exchange of a 3$ coupon which i do not care at this point] The first major issue is communication. When BBDBUY changed websites, there was little to no proper notification outside of Discord. If you weren't part of their Discord server, there was essentially no way to know what was happening, what procedures had changed, or what steps you needed to take. A business should not rely on a third-party chat platform as its primary method of communicating critical information to customers. Even more frustrating, existing accounts and orders from the original website could not be transferred to the new website, despite it being the same company, the same staff, and the same warehouse. Customers were simply expected to start over. The management also raises concerns. The Discord manager "Bison Fute" appears to be a very young French adolescent, which does not inspire confidence when handling customer issues involving hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of goods. Shipping costs are another major problem. The estimates shown initially can look very attractive, but the final shipping charges often end up being dramatically different. Shipping lines change, pricing changes, and volumetric weight calculations can make costs increase extremely quickly. The low estimates displayed at the beginning feel misleading when compared to what customers actually end up paying. Shipping times are equally disappointing. My most recent shipment was estimated to take around 30–40 days to reach the United States. It has now been over 67 days and the package still has not arrived. Customer support refuses to provide container numbers, shipping manifests, or bills of lading that would allow customers to independently track overseas shipments and verify their location. The only alternative shipping method available was air freight, which cost roughly 3.25 times more while promising delivery in under three weeks. Customers are essentially forced to choose between extremely expensive shipping or long, unpredictable delays. Overall, BBDBUY suffers from poor communication, questionable management, misleading shipping estimates, lack of transparency, and unreliable delivery timelines. There are far better third-party shipping agents available, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
