Not Properly Packaged
Wow. Very disappointing. I have been ordering from Shari’s Berries since the beginning of the internet. I ordered a dozen berries to send to my friend in Colorado to be delivered on her birthday. The berries arrived and I received an email that they were delivered. In the past, the berries have always been packaged in a lovely gift box inside a shipping box containing ice packs so that the berries stay fresh until the recipient opens them later in the day. This time, there was no cold packaging as had always been the practice in the past. So, of course the berries were a bit warm and not as fresh as they would have been had they been properly packaged for shipping. I chatted with customer service through the chat box on the website to complain. To their credit, it seemed like I was chatting with a live person who was kind and apologetic and agreed to send another shipment but could not guarantee that the berries would be packaged properly. So the second shipment arrives the next day but not properly packaged again. This is a far cry from service provided in the past from this company. So sad because the product is good. Ruined by not properly packaging. I won’t be ordering again and it seems like they just don’t care looking at all the other bad reviews.
