Bambu Lab’s Student Discount Is a Joke
I’m a student and was placing an order worth more than £500. After all the hassle, I ended up getting a grand total of £11 discount. The website didn't explain why the discount wasn't being applied, so I had to spend more than an hour trying to get the purchase through, including around 30 minutes on Bambu Lab's online chat just to understand what was going on. I eventually discovered that the student discount can only be applied to one item in the basket. When buying a printer, AMS and accessories, that makes the offer almost worthless. For a £500+ purchase, wasting over an hour of a customer's time to get an £11 discount is ridiculous. A genuine student discount should be straightforward and meaningful, not a token offer buried behind confusing restrictions and a frustrating checkout process. Bambu Lab should either provide a proper student discount or stop pretending this is a meaningful benefit to students.
