I paid **₹12,243** for professional academic editing with the expectation that my manuscript would be improved for journal submission. Instead, after receiving the edited version, my Turnitin AI writing indicator showed an extremely high score (around **89%**, according to my check). I immediately contacted the company and requested a proper revision. After the second revision, the situation became even worse—the Turnitin AI writing indicator increased to around **95%** instead of improving. For my academic purpose, this made the manuscript unusable and caused significant stress, delay, and loss of valuable research time. After several communications, **I was informed that I would receive a 50% refund**. Based on that assurance, I expected the matter to be resolved. **However, after making that promise, there has been no meaningful response, and I have still not received the promised refund.** I am **not claiming that an AI indicator alone proves how the editing was performed**. I am simply stating my personal experience that the final edited manuscript did not meet the purpose for which I paid, and my concerns were not satisfactorily addressed. What disappoints me the most is not only the quality of the service but also the lack of follow-through after assuring me of a **50% refund**.
