My experience with Batik Airways was…
My experience with Batik Airways was extremely disappointing. Last month, I was travelling to Langkawi. I joined the boarding queue more than an hour before the scheduled departure, yet there was no final boarding call. I remained in the queue while the boarding process moved very slowly. When I finally reached the counter—about 45 minutes before departure—I was informed that I could no longer board because, according to their policy, passengers must complete boarding at least one hour before the flight. I was shocked. I had arrived on time and had been waiting in their queue the entire time. The delay was caused by the airline’s own boarding process, yet I was denied boarding and held responsible for something completely beyond my control. What made the experience even worse was the behaviour of the duty manager. Instead of listening to my explanation or trying to help, she spoke to me in a raised voice and treated me with a lack of respect. As an international traveller, I found this treatment deeply upsetting and unprofessional. This was one of the most frustrating travel experiences I have had. Airlines should treat passengers fairly and respectfully, especially when delays arise from their own operational processes. To me, this airlines is simply a scam! They just wanted to cheat me and they did it. People should not avail this low class cheat airlines!
