United Capital Source Inc.

Bait and Switch tactics/Initial Impressions Review requests.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I entered into a financing agreement through United Capital Source and Vader Mountain Capital after specifically discussing my goal of building business credit for my company. During the sales process, representations and expectations were created that this financing would help establish business credit reporting. After funding, I later learned the situation was very different from what was reasonably understood during origination. United Capital Source later acknowledged there may have been a “gap” or misinformation regarding the business credit reporting issue, and Vader Mountain Capital also acknowledged that misinformation may have occurred. Since then, I have repeatedly requested copies of the funding call and related communications to clarify what was represented during the sales process, but important records still have not been fully produced. I also experienced aggressive escalation activity while the dispute remained unresolved, including repeated default notices and pressure communications despite ongoing efforts to resolve the matter professionally and in writing. My recommendation to other business owners is to record and preserve every stage of the financing process, including emails, text messages, verbal representations, and funding calls. If business credit reporting or other specific benefits are important to your decision, make sure those representations are confirmed clearly and in writing before signing any agreement. Businesses should ensure that all representations made during the financing process are accurate and transparent, especially when those representations materially influence a customer’s decision to enter into an agreement. I hope the companies ultimately choose to resolve this matter professionally and transparently.
