I purchased an Alien Rider head unit for my motorcycle and the unit failed in less than three months of normal use. When the product was working, communication from the company was reasonably responsive. However, once the unit stopped functioning and I needed warranty assistance, communication became increasingly difficult and eventually stopped altogether. Multiple attempts to obtain support went unanswered. Unfortunately, by the time it became clear that Alien Rider was not going to honor or address the warranty issue, the PayPal dispute window had expired, leaving me with a non-functioning product and no meaningful support from the manufacturer. I understand that electronic products can occasionally fail. What I cannot overlook is the complete lack of customer service after the sale. A company's true value is measured by how it treats customers when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Alien Rider products and would encourage prospective buyers to carefully consider the level of post-sale support they may receive if warranty service is needed.
