What a waste of time with Click2refund
What a waste of time with Click2refund! I filed a KLM claim and spent months receiving the same recycled updates—"we've escalated to legal," "we're applying additional pressure on the airline"—that amounted to nothing. The case was eventually closed because the delay was caused by "extraordinary circumstances" (snow at Schiphol), which exempts the airline under EU261. The problem: that snowstorm was widely reported in mid-February, with cancellation numbers published in the press the same week. If weather was always going to defeat the claim, a competent service flags it at intake—not after stringing the client along for months pretending to fight a battle that was never winnable. Either they didn't do basic research until the very end, or they did and kept me waiting regardless. Neither is reassuring. For comparison, AirHelp resolved a previous claim of mine in roughly two months, one way or the other. Click2Refund delivered only delay and a final answer they could have given me at the start. The "no win, no fee" model means I lost no money -just time and a few months of false hope. ### Further info and update: Click2refund tried to cancel my review claiming that it constituted "advertising". They were successful in putting it offline for a while. I appealed and got my complaint back online. If they try similar strategies with your review, do appeal for restitution of your review!
