The fabric is very thin....definitely can't be worn as a tank top unless you want to be seen in an undergarnment. The ad photos are misleading ...the fabric appears thicker and it looks like a tank top. The actual fabric has sheen to it and is more like shape wear. It fits tight on abdomen and flattens my breasts ( no lift ). I would never wear it in public under an open cardigan....as they show in their ads. I thought I was purchasing from an American company and it was shipped from China! A very long, slow delivery process with dozens of continuous emails to purchase more before my original order was even shipped.
