Fairway Logistics - Car was damaged in transit, and they are uninsured- NOT RECOMMENDED
I booked transportation of a Chevy Malibu from Louisiana to my home and being a broker, they subcontracted to another trucking company (Capital City Transport of Nashville Tennessee) and the car was damaged when unloading from the trailer (front bumper torn off). On the website for Fairway Logistics they claim to be fully insured but I later learned that they are NOT INSURED and are NOT BONDED either. Capital City Transport had insurance but with a deductible that was for more than the damaged bumper. I documented everything and HAVE tried to resolve the matter for months, to no avail. I booked the transport deal through Fairway Logistics, and they have failed to take responsibility or help get the issue resolved with Capital City Transport.
