I consigned an item with FASHIONPHILE and was never paid out after sale. It’s been MONTHS - no reply from them
I consigned an item with Fashionphile and, upon generating a sale, visited your Del Mar location to discuss my options. At that time, a store employee explicitly informed me that I could use my consignment proceeds to purchase a watch, and that if the watch did not fit correctly, I could return it and receive my consignment funds as a cash payout. I relied on that representation in good faith and made my purchase accordingly. The watch was not the right size and I returned it as discussed and purchased the larger watch from another shop. However, when trying to select cash out, I was then informed that cash out was no longer an option — directly contradicting what I was told in-store. I have been left with store credit I did not agree to and did not request. What I am asking for: I am simply requesting either (1) a full cash payout of my consignment proceeds as promised or (2) the return of my consigned bag. I do not accept store credit as a resolution, as it was not the arrangement I was offered or agreed to. What concerns me beyond the outcome itself is the complete absence of communication from your customer service team. Weeks and weeks of silence is not an acceptable response to a legitimate customer concern, particularly one involving a verbal commitment made by your staff. Forcing someone to spend money when that’s not the option promised is disgraceful and slimy.
