Unfortunate
Unfortunately, my experience with Airalo in the UK was extremely disappointing. My phone consistently showed good 4G/5G signal, yet mobile data simply did not work when I actually needed it. I ended up constantly searching for Wi-Fi and was left without a usable internet connection on several occasions, which is exactly the situation an eSIM is supposed to prevent when travelling. I’ve used Airalo in other countries without problems, so I know this is not what the service should be like. My phone is a current-generation device and had no difficulty connecting to the network — there was simply no functional data connection. A rather expensive way to discover where all the nearest cafés with free Wi-Fi are. I certainly wouldn’t use Airalo in the UK again
