Seven months in and deeply unimpressed
June 2026 - This is a highly AI-driven customer experience interface. All of your email sequencing and in-app chat queries are executed by AI bots: any query you make generates dozens of bottomless responses that never really solve your query. You are placated and stroked with cheerful words, plenty of exclamation marks and sycophancy, only to learn when you really need help, that the folks behind the phone numbers will know NOTHING about the endless email sequencing you've already wasted time with. You will have dozens of pretend names cascading your unresolved issue and choking your inbox as your anger slowly mounts. Live support: Video meetings with a "provider" - this is the word they use for the nurse practitioners. Snaps, I've had some very good ones in the seven (7) months of being a Fridays GLP1 consumer. But you cannot select a provider to re-visit the next time, you get who you get when you schedule. I had a provider video-appt with an NP who told me she was just a contractor and couldn't help me, as she sat in a disheveled bedroom piled high with laundry piles, discarded trash, a dog sleeping on her unmade bed and only half of her face in the screen. Horrifying - especially if you're AI exhausted by the bottomless messaging that didn't help you, and then you get "I'm just a contractor and can't really help you with this query you have about why this month's medicine arrived in a bright fuchsia color you've never seen before in your seven months as a customer." Here's the thing. There are three hands with Fridays. The right hand (the team who wants and processes your money). The left hand (the AI-driven email and app-chat bots that are only as helpful as bots can be. And there's a third hand, and that's the hand that has no idea what is going on with the above. The customer experience is not synchronized. You will be told that someone will get back to you with near every query, or who you do get with cannot answer your question. Because we are talking about medicine, thus liability risks across the board for every interaction, you can feel the fear. No one wants to take responsibility to be honest and just provide an answer. Everything gets punted to another layer, another level. Oh you need to message pharmacy. Oh you need to message customer support. Oh you need to message consults. And never in the end did I feel resolve. Or confidence. I cannot wait until my one-year cash payment reaches its one-year mark so I can get the hell out of Dodge. All the TikTok and Insta ambassadors are sweet and compelling and you'll have a sense that choosing Fridays will feel good. It doesn't. Additionally: see how the Fridays Trustpilot reviews here have a reply from them that warmly encourages us reach out to the same email address? That customer support email is NOT managed by humans. Good luck ever getting anything of pressing concern handled there. What an insult to our intelligence to be given that garbage disposal of an email address.
