I am extremely disappointed with my experience on DHgate.
I purchased a smartphone for **USD 469.92** and never received it. According to the official DHL investigation, the package could not be delivered and was returned to the sender. I obtained written confirmation from DHL and provided it to DHgate together with screenshots and other evidence. Despite this, DHgate closed my dispute and decided to release the payment to the seller. Their explanation was based on the German character "ß" in my address, claiming that the address was incorrect. However, I entered my address exactly as required, and I can provide screenshots and a video proving this. It appears there may have been an issue with how the platform processed or displayed the address. As a result, I ended up with neither the product nor my money, while the seller received both the payment and the returned package. I also purchased Green Shipping Protection, but I was simply referred back to DHgate, even after DHgate had already closed my dispute. I expected better buyer protection from such a large marketplace.
