High quality PCB manufacturing + assembly
I turned to PCBWay to manufacture a 4-layer custom flight controller board for a lightweight blimp I designed for a school project, and their quality was superb. I chose the matte black solder mask, which looked excellent, and opted for SMD component assembly as well. Every SMD component was aligned and oriented properly. During the ordering process, PCBWay's engineers reached out to me to confirm part orientation to ensure that the board was right on the first manufacturing run. The PCBs were made and assembled within a few weeks, and were shipped to me in a competitive timeframe. I received all 5 boards I ordered, and all 5 worked as intended-- their quality control and yield rate was very impressive. Besides the manufacturing aspect, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the inviting PCBWay community, and their support of open source hardware, which is always great to see in the hobbyist community. Overall, I was impressed with their ease of purchasing, communication, and genuinely competitive pricing compared to other companies.
