Extremely disappointing experience with salary withdrawals. I never expected that the hardest part of getting paid would be accessing my own salary. I work for a legitimate company, my Deel account is fully verified, and my employment is completely legitimate. Despite this, I have experienced repeated compliance reviews that have delayed my salary withdrawals multiple times. The first delayed withdrawal took three days to complete because it remained under compliance review over the weekend. During that time, I repeatedly contacted support and received the same generic responses: “Your account is in good standing. Please wait one business day.” After my withdrawal was eventually approved, I was told the issue was related to VPN usage. I followed every instruction provided by the support team: I logged in from a different device and initiated my next withdrawal without using any VPN. Unfortunately, exactly the same thing happened again. Now, for the third consecutive withdrawal, my salary has once again been placed under compliance review. As I am writing this review, I still have not received my latest salary payment. The support team continues to respond with polite but generic messages such as “We’re sorry for the inconvenience” and “Please wait one business day,” without providing any meaningful explanation for why this keeps happening or what is being done to prevent it. At this point, it is no longer an isolated incident—it has become a recurring problem. The most frustrating part is not the review itself—it’s the uncertainty. I cannot reliably access my own legally earned salary, which has forced me to postpone important payments and repeatedly change my financial plans. I have kept screenshots of the entire conversation and every withdrawal status. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Deel to anyone who depends on receiving their salary on time. I sincerely hope Deel improves its compliance process so that verified users are not subjected to repeated delays without a clear explanation.
