The product photos are misleading
The product photos are misleading. I purchased these earrings expecting them to look symmetrical when worn based on the actual product photos, but one faces the opposite direction from the other. I reached out to customer support, and instead of acknowledging that this is not clearly shown in the product photos, they argued that I could see it by looking through customer review photos. Customers should not have to search through reviews to find out what a product actually looks like. The official product photos should accurately and clearly show what you are purchasing, and customers should be able to rely on them. Had the actual design been clearly shown in the product photos, I would not have ordered these. Very disappointing. Edit 6/9- The confusion came directly from the only product photo showing the earrings actually being worn. That image shows both stones facing inward toward each other, which reasonably gave me the impression that both earrings were made in that same orientation. There is no photo showing the full pair being worn on each ear to demonstrate that the earrings actually face opposite directions. I understand now that this may be the intended design, but that is not clearly communicated in the product images. If the pair is asymmetrical when worn, the listing should include a clear photo showing both ears or explicitly state that the left and right earrings face opposite directions. Customers should not have to discover that detail after receiving the product or by searching through customer reviews. The issue with my review was never whether this was a manufacturing defect. The issue was that the product presentation did not clearly show what the pair would actually look like when worn.
