Premium Price, Budget Lifespan
I purchased a Samsung TV for approximately $1,500, expecting it to last much longer than three years. Instead, the TV developed a failure where it repeatedly clicks, attempts to power on, and never displays a picture. After extensive troubleshooting—including testing the power supply, main board, and panel connections—it appears the LCD panel itself has failed. What disappointed me even more was Samsung's customer service. Their response was simply that the TV was outside the one-year warranty, and they claimed they were unaware of this issue. Yet there are countless reports online from owners describing the exact same symptoms on this model. I understand electronics can fail, but a premium television should not suffer a catastrophic panel failure after such a short period of normal home use. I expected better quality and better support from a company with Samsung's reputation. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant to purchase another Samsung television.
