The app marks all three as “paid,” but no funds ever arrived in my bank account. Over several weeks of contacting support, I was given at least three different explanations: payment “processed via ADP” on two separate dates, and a payment supposedly “issued via cheque.” None of it showed up, confirmed by my bank statement. Tickets were repeatedly closed and reopened by different agents with no resolution. A formal written demand for payment sent June 22 went unanswered past its deadline. I’ve now filed with the BC Employment Standards Branch and the Civil Resolution Tribunal. If you’re considering gig work through this platform, be aware payment issues appear to be a recurring problem, not a one-off.
