I had such high hopes but was dissappointed
I had such high hopes as I purchased and prepared my translator for my trip to Japan. I must say the staff and customer service at the company were exceptionally helpful in correcting some errors I made when ordering (the purchase process kept wanting to add on and add on to the order and select an array of options). However, upon my first attempt to use the device in Japan was very disappointing. I had my phone with the app running, very strong internet connection but the translation after I spoke was painfully slow. Although the translation was very accurate, it took as long as 30 seconds for the translation to come out. The people I was trying to ask a question of got impatient and tired of waiting to hear what I said. Then while waiting we would try to communicate by pointing and basic English. Perfect interpretation, but much too slow for conversation.
