I recently turned 40
I recently turned 40, and just a few months later I started experiencing mood swings, weight gain, trouble sleeping, low energy, and just didn’t feel like myself anymore. I went to my gynecologist, had hormone blood work done, and while most of my hormone levels came back normal, my sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) was very high.
