No touch-up paint available
Had I written my review upon first receiving my product I would have given it a 4. It was an easy fix to a large mirror that I did not want to replace. I liked the look of the frame. It did crack in a corner when I was trying to put it together but it isn’t very noticeable. Fast forward 2 years…. My frame now has droplet shaped spots where the paint is missing. I use Windex to clean the glass which apparently ruins the paint. Weird, but okay. I reached out to customer service and requested to buy touch-up paint. The answer from Kim is they don’t sell any and I have to color match my own paint. Sorry, but if this is a known issue with your paint finish, then as a business you should provide a solution. Such as selling touch-up paint that’s an exact color match to the Hudson midnight steel. There is no way this finish can be color matched by an outside vendor. It’s has deep charcoal undertones and a brushed metallic finish. Which leads me to my 1 star rating since I’m left with an ugly spotted frame that I will now need to replace.
