Buyer beware. Think before you purchase the U1.
I have encountered error after error on the snapmaker u1. I have owned the printer for almost 3 months now and the printer has been unusable for over 2 months. I have been in back and forth communication with customer support and they refuse to admit fault on their printer and replace it. Any attempt to troubleshoot brings up another error to troubleshoot. One issue doesn't get fixed and another pops up. I have been back and forth with customer support and trying to troubleshoot since mid June. Customer support response time is very minimal and isn't helpful. I would give Snapmaker 0 stars at this point.
