Abt service dept is really going downhill
I have been a big fan of Abt's, but I'm really losing faith in them. On July 8 I set up an appt to have a wine cooler repaired. Wasn't able to get an appt until 7/13. Since that was the first appt I could get, I took it but explicitly explained I had a doctor appt, and the only time I wasn't available was 11:30am-12:30pm. So I get a text the morning of 7/13 that Abt will be here between 11:30am-2pm. Abt used to be better than this. I rescheduled my doctor appt for 2wks, and Abt tech comes out. He tells me he can't fix, that the unit needs to be pulled out from the wall and 2 techs will be needed to rebuild it. They can't fit me in until 7/25/26. I rearrange my schedule for 7/25/26 to accommodate Abt. On 7/25/26, one person shows up, tells me he is unable to fix the wine cooler, that it needs to be pulled from the wall and repair/rebuild needs 2 people. He was apologetic and left. Now Abt Appliance is saying they can't come out until 7/28/26. I used to be a big fan of Abt, and highly recommended them to anyone who asked. I'm really disappointed in Abt and won't be referring them any more.
