The hotel that we stayed in was…great but Agoda are crooks
The hotel that we stayed in was amazing, problem was Agoda cancelled my booking for reasons best known to themselves. When l contacted them they told me to rebook which l did ( the 4 night stay was a surprise for my husbands birthday) When we arrived at the hotel l had 2 bookings and they took the cost of the hotel twice from my credit card. Many emails and phone calls on our return some taking over an hour , the problem was discovered. The booking had been cancelled by Agoda for a better price but the member of staff who emailed me sent it to the wrong address! So therefore l didn’t receive it. I told them that l required a full refund , much humming and harring they agreed to pay me approx £100 pounds less. As this had been going on for so long l reluctantly agreed. The stay was at the start of June 26 and to date 28/7 they have paid me an amount which is approx £ 260 short. The chances of getting my money back l think is nil. Agoda are a shady organisation which is run from far flung countries. I think that they are crooks so beware.
