Sellers, beware of sales tax charges
I've been selling collectibles on eBay for a few years, and it was a great experience up until more recent transactions. 3 out of my last 5 sales, eBay has charged me (the seller) sales tax on the item that I'm selling. I've emailed eBay 5 times in the past month lettings them know they charged me the sales tax and requesting a refund, but no response. If you're selling using the eBay platform go back and check your orders. They'll label it under sales tax [saying "this is what we charged the buyer"], but if you add the numbers, they deducted it from your payout as well.
