I was scammed and the scammer used Chime. I lost $400 from this encounter. This happened 7/28/26. Today, 7/29/26 I spent over an hour going from one agent to the next in their fraud dept. They were all so polite. I retold the story of what happened EACH time. The last person I spoke to basically said there was nothing that could be done. My money was put on a Chime card for someone named Norma Castro. I explained this too for them to please look into this transaction that went to her, a complete stranger to me. Again I had explained what happened to at least eight people which was documented. No mention to me that anything would be looked into or any attempt to stop the these scammers. I got a video call from someone name Frankly Baker so please be on alert. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I receive $1083 social security and now have $400 taken from that pittance which I have to live on all month. Chime you need to be accountable and at least TRY to resolve ppl scamming via your platform.
