Worst Warranty Experience I've Ever Had
I honestly don't know what's worse—this dishwasher or Samsung's customer service. I bought this dishwasher expecting it to be reliable, clean my dishes, and operate quietly. Instead, it's been one problem after another. The dishwasher makes a loud clicking noise throughout the entire wash cycle. Not once in a while—throughout the cycle. When the Samsung technician came out, I was told this is "normal." I've owned several dishwashers over the years, and not one of them has made this kind of noise. My family and friends' dishwashers don't either. Calling this normal is ridiculous. Then there's the cleaning performance. Dishes regularly come out dirty. The technician actually told me that's acceptable because newer dishwashers are more efficient. Seriously? It's a dishwasher. Its entire purpose is to clean dishes. I understand you have to load them properly, but telling customers that dirty dishes are just part of owning a modern dishwasher is beyond absurd. The rack hardware is another joke. It constantly sticks and feels incredibly cheap. The technician admitted the parts could be replaced but then said the new parts are basically the same and would probably do the exact same thing. So what's the point? What really pushed me over the edge was dealing with Samsung afterward. I've spent around six hours on the phone, been transferred from department to department, had to explain the same problems over and over again, and was even hung up on while trying to escalate my complaint. The technician basically reported that nothing was wrong with the dishwasher, despite all of these issues, which left me fighting Samsung just to get someone to take my concerns seriously. I've owned products from a lot of different companies over the years, and this has easily been the worst warranty experience I've ever had. Samsung seems more interested in explaining away problems than actually fixing them. If this is what Samsung considers normal—a loud dishwasher, dirty dishes after a wash cycle, and rack components that barely work—then they have some serious quality control problems. I won't be buying another Samsung appliance, and after this experience I wouldn't recommend one to anyone. A warranty doesn't mean much if every legitimate problem is dismissed as "working as designed." Save yourself the frustration and look at another brand.
