The worst experience
I purchased a hosting service that was explicitly advertised as a "lifetime" (one-time payment) deal, only to have the server company cancel it without my consent. Furthermore, the billing was set up as a subscription, meaning I was on the verge of being charged monthly. I contacted customer support, but the representative was incompetent and didn't even seem to be reading my emails properly. I never want to do business with them again!
