Scammers who offered the worst customer service experience I have ever had
Avoid using this service unless you want to be scammed out of your money. I needed to book a journey using coaches. A single coach journey was 14.90, but I was given the choice of a return, which then made the price 22.90. I needed to return the same day, so I of course took up that offer. A few days later, the day before my journey, I check and notice I have no return ticket. Confused and alarmed, I decide to use the live support chat in the app to hopefully resolve the issue; what followed was by far the WORST support experience I have ever had. The customer support made an attempt to gaslight me into thinking the single price was 22.90, despite the fact it still says 14.90 to buy the same single ticket on the same day at the same time, and clicking through to purchase it remains the same price throughout. So I was charged 8.00 extra on the pretense that I would get a return, only to get the exact same ticket I could have bought for 14.90! Service claims "travel worry-free", well Trip.com has made my journey a nightmare. They claimed they would contact me in 24 hours. I don't have that time, so I will now be forced to purchase an expensive return ticket on TRAINLINE, a service that has at least never scammed me when I used to use it. Abysmal service. I used to recommend Trip.com to all my friends. However, after this terrible experience I will never use again, and I will actively discourage everyone I know from using the service. One last thing worth noting, I left a similar review on Play Store, where they simply directed me to THE SAME ABYSMAL SUPPORT SERVICE I COMPLAINED ABOUT. I guarantee they will do the exact same here too
