Shady lending practices - BEWARE! I got a great offer from OnDeck that included 100% interest forgiveness in the first 30 days. Sounds too good to be true? Yup. I paid the full balance of the loan last week, just 3 weeks into the loan period. The loan balance still showed the interest based on the full term of the loan, so I called 2 days ago to get support. I got dropped in a general VM box and no one returned my call. Today, they took ANOTHER weekly payment out. I called several times and finally received a different support number. They said that I was supposed to call for a loan payoff - first time I'm hearing this and no documentation on the website, including the payment screens. Now they're saying I have to wait 2 more days to GET MY PAYMENT REFUNDED, then call back to do the payoff. That process will put me beyond the interest forgiveness period and cost me 4.6% of the loan in interest for just the first month. This is a complete breech of contract. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
