First, I became a yoga teacher, then I learned my potential.
I started a local Yoga teaching training course earlier in my yogi years and was unable to finish it due to circumstances beyond my control. Bad timing, I suppose. I was a bit apprehensive about returning to a yoga teacher training completely online, yet the idea of doing it at at my own pace was appealing. I am grateful I followed through. The teaching instructors in the course videos are phenomenal. I enjoyed taking my time learning & integrating the philosophies and practices of yoga; nothing was rushed. The education and wisdom simply unfolded on divine time for me. I paired my YogaRenew practices with my local Yoga studios. I gained a nourishing community, and bigger goals than myself. I do believe it's possible to save humanity with yoga! <3 But first, I'm going to practice my skills and continue my education through the classes I get to teach... just a week after finishing my course, I have yoga teaching opportunities lined up. :) I understand the appeal for community at local studios for YTT, however I truly love the broad network I've formed online, because it built broader inspirations upon all the wonderful things I can do using yoga as a tool, rather than a final destination. The opportunities for a a yoga career are almost endless, and YogaRenew helped me to realize this.
