The food has been great
The food has been great, and I was really enjoying this service until this last order. One of the things I’ve appreciated most is how well they accommodate my dietary needs. Having meals that fit my dietary restrictions takes away the stress of having to constantly read through ingredient labels and figure out what I can and can’t eat. That convenience has been a huge plus for me. For this last order, I misunderstood the cutoff date and thought it was Thursday rather than Wednesday, so I fully acknowledge that part was my mistake. That said, I was extremely disappointed with how the situation was initially handled by customer service. My order still had not shipped, yet I received the same chatbot response repeatedly. I tried to explain the situation and ask for help, but I felt like my request was being dismissed rather than actually addressed. I also could not find anywhere in the emails or app where the cutoff days were clearly communicated. If the information is available somewhere, it certainly wasn’t easy for me to find. I would have been much more understanding of missing the cutoff if the information had been clearly communicated and I had received a more helpful response from customer service. **However, I do want to give credit where credit is due. After I left my review, the company responded and issued me a full credit. I really appreciate that they took the time to look into my situation and make it right.** I was genuinely enjoying the food and the convenience of having meals that meet my dietary needs, so I’m glad the company took my feedback seriously rather than simply ignoring it. I hope they’ll also take a look at how the cutoff information is communicated and how customer service handles situations like this in the future. I’m updating my review in good faith because they listened, responded, and made an effort to resolve the issue. That goes a long way, and I appreciate it. I’m happy to continue giving them a chance because, overall, I’ve had a great experience with the food and the convenience this service provides.
