A Truly Authentic Health Journey
At 24 years old, I had a bilateral pulmonary embolism and learned I have a genetic blood clotting disorder. Through that experience, it was determined bearing my own children was not the safest path for me. So 5 years later, summer of 2025, I had a hysterectomy. I had just married my best friend a month prior to the surgery, and the recovery from the hysterectomy over these last 12 months has been an uphill battle. Pain during intercourse, uninterested in intimacy, difficulty self lubricating, etc. Just truly not who I have been “down there” for the 10 years prior to the surgery. I’ve done some pelvic floor physical therapy, but SculptHer was recommended to me by a licensed clinical social worker getting her PhD in Sex Therapy.
