As the owner of a rare car that is not manufactured anymore. We found it very frustrating that Katzkin would not embroider the same symbols in the replacement car seats that it originally came with, because they said it was a licensing issue. However, we found a ton of people who would have done it for us, except that because all of the foam backing had already been sewn in by Katzkin, no one could secure the leather well enough for their machines. Honestly, I would say if you are looking to keep your car as original as possible, pay the higher rate and find a local leather company that will do the embroidering. We wish we hadn’t gone this route! Other than this issue, the product is beautiful. Also be aware that we went with the highest level leather kit.
