Update – August 13, 2026 CompAsia finally refunded today – but only after weeks of chasing, vague replies, cancellation refusal, and escalating to Maybank. Relieved to have my money back, but this should never have been this difficult. If something goes wrong with your order, expect a long, stressful fight. When I requested a cancellation and refund, I was pointed to their terms and conditions, which state that once an order is accepted, "the order is not cancellable, and the payment made by the customer is not refundable." So let me summarise: They take your money upfront. They fail to deliver within their own promised timeline. They refuse to cancel or refund because their policy says they don't have to. That is not a customer-friendly policy — it's a trap designed to protect them at your expense. Customer service is slow, vague, and unhelpful. I got no resolution, no clear timeline, and no refund. I have now escalated this to Maybank to dispute the charge. A waste of time and energy that could have been avoided if CompAsia simply honoured their delivery commitment. My advice: buy from other platforms. Shopee, Lazada, or even direct from brand-authorized sellers offer better consumer protections, clearer cancellation policies, and actual customer support when things go wrong. Don't make the same mistake I did.
