Airline refused payment but Flightright didn't give up!
My flight was delayed for 48 hours. At the airport many on the flight were given hotel accommodation. I was too far behind in the queue, and an airline representative came along the queue indicating that the hotels in the area were now fully booked and we had to make our own arrangements, but all reasonable claims would be covered by the airline. I made my claim, but compensation was denied outright. This was despite more than half the flight had been provided with free accommodation, and the airline had indicated that claims would be accepted! So, I contacted Flightright. They didn’t have an easy job! The airline refused to pay, Flightright grouped together several related claims and eventually initiated court proceedings. Now, 4 years later I have received my compensation less their fee. Flightright provided a very professional service and kept me updated throughout the process. Well done, Flightright!
