It made my life easier. My humana Ins. Did not approve the MRI of my lumbar Spine that he ordered. They wanted more info on a Friday afternoon, which my Dr is out on Friday afternoon. I was going to have to cancel my test. I was beside myself with pain and had been for a while. I was begging the hospital not to cancel and asked what I could do. They had originally had told me I would have to pay 223.00 at the visit. The lady and im sorry I cant remember her name, I was in such a state and in pain,anyway she was so very kind and very apologetic for the situation. She told me to hang on a minute.She came back on line and told me about MDSave. Said I could pay 500.00 and still get the MRI..At thst point I said fine thats only 200.00 plus more than I was going to pay. I opted to pay it and got my MRI. I have 2 fractures that are new at L3 the CT scan said they were old. My Dr. Said that he never knew I had them. I said I did not know either. We knew about the stable Fracture at L5... We needed the MRI to make a clear diagnosis. I was very thankful I could go on with the MRI.
