Extremely disappointed with Samsung's…
Extremely disappointed with Samsung's warranty department. My phone is less than 50 days old and the screen has been flickering with a visible line defect since the very first day I owned it — clearly a manufacturing defect, not something I caused. A Samsung retail store employee physically inspected the phone before I sent it in and confirmed there was no drop damage. The store even told me this specific screen issue is a known, recurring problem with this model. Despite that, Samsung's repair center denied my warranty claim and is now trying to charge me $650, claiming a minor scratch counts as "damage" and shifting blame to "user error." This does not match the actual issue — a defective screen — and feels like a way to avoid honoring a valid warranty claim on a brand new device. I've owned Samsung products for years, but this experience with their warranty/repair process has been dismissive and, frankly, feels like a bad-faith denial. I would caution anyone relying on Samsung's warranty coverage to document everything before sending a device in, because they will look for any excuse — including a cosmetic scratch — to deny a legitimate defect claim. Still hoping this gets resolved, but as of now I cannot recommend trusting Samsung's warranty support.
