I’ve been using Thumbtack for a while
I’ve been using Thumbtack for a while, and unfortunately the quality of the leads has gotten much worse. Lately I’m paying for leads where clients never respond at all, even when I reply within minutes. Many of these leads are also sent to several professionals at the same time, so you can easily spend a lot of money without ever getting a real conversation with the customer. It used to be a useful platform for my business, but now it feels like I’m mostly paying for dead or low-quality leads. The refund system doesn’t make it much better either. I really hope Thumbtack changes how they charge professionals and improves the quality of their leads.
